Lock a seat
Methodology

About the data

Public records in. Exclusive distribution out. We never fabricate seat status or contact details.

Launch status

This site is a preview of the planned subscription service. Email routing, payment checkout, scheduled delivery and seat reconciliation must be configured and tested before paid launch. Sample requests start only after email confirmation. Public previews are actual source records, not invented examples.

Primary sources

Exclusive distribution

Filing data is public. Access to LiquorSignal’s daily wire is not. We sell 1-of-1 Exclusive seats per sector per metro. Seat status is tracked in an internal ledger and published honestly on this site (64 open / 0 locked at publication).

Delivery cadence & noise filtering

State agencies publish new filings Monday through Friday. LiquorSignal polls Texas TABC and New York SLA every weekday morning, filters selected license classes (selected excluded permit classes and NY grocery/wholesale classes). TX convenience stores may still appear, and license labels do not verify a kitchen, with a planned 7:00 AM Eastern wire + CSV whenever new hospitality filings post in your metro, plus a Friday weekly rollup.

What a filing does — and does not — mean

A pending application is an outreach signal, not a confirmed opening. It may concern a new business, ownership change, relocation or other application. We do not verify an opening date or promise 30–120 days of advance notice. Prior-licensee matches can be historical or concurrent; they do not prove a former kitchen. Suite ambiguity and source errors are possible. Contacts are applicant entities unless an individual is explicitly published.

Enrichment

Verified snapshot totals

883 filing records over 30 days: 596 Texas and 287 New York. Last 7 days: 247 records.

457 of 883 records (51.8%) match a different licensee at a normalized address. This is not a count of confirmed former kitchens.

698 distinct state + applicant-name + street combinations, before deeper entity resolution. One business may file multiple permit classes; filing volume is not a count of unique new openings. Phone coverage: 0 current-applicant numbers in this snapshot.

Data checked: 2026-11-06 at 00:33 EST (America/New_York). Counts include selected on-premise, venue and retail filings, not confirmed new openings. Multiple license classes can refer to one business. Availability is a snapshot, not a live reservation.
